we are completely moved out of our old place and moved into our new place. today for a while i was starting to think i was allergic to our new house, but a cup of hot soup has made me feel so much better, so hopefully i'm not alergic to the new house...

well we don't have a lawnmower, but we will in just over a week. so i guess i'll be cuttin grass with a scisors one time this week!

podcasting your brains out

i'm listening to my first podcast rite now, its the creators of odeo.com talking about the website.  wow, exciting stuff.  i think maybe i'll have to create my own!  would you listen?

as i'm writing this and listening to the odeo guys i'm thinking about how when a boxing match starts and the announcer holds the microphone for the ref.  the announcer is behind the ref and has one of his arms (the on that has the hand that holds the mic) thru the armpit area of the ref so that his insturction can be heard by the whole crowd and tv audience.  i wonder if they do that so the ref doesn't have to get his nice rubber gloves dirty, or the announcer is just attached to his mic.  then if a person was dumb enough they mite think for a couple of seconds that the ref actually had 3 arms!!

Yesterday the President furiously backpedaled from his promise to fire anyone involved in leaking the identity of a covert CIA agent to the press. Now that it's known that Rove and Vice President Cheney's Chief of Staff Lewis Libby were involved, the President has lowered the bar and now says he'll only fire someone who is convicted of a crime.

President Bush is setting a terrible standard of leadership in the White House by protecting insubordinate aides who refused to come forward when the President demanded to know who in his administration leaked Valerie Plame's identity -- and he's sending a disturbing message about our national security.

The President should not wait to find out whether Rove is convicted in the end for his leak. Either Rove lied to the President about this matter of national security, which means he should be fired immediately, or the President is not being straight with the American people about his own involvement in this case.

With all the dissembling coming out of the White House, it's clear that the only way the American people can get to the bottom of this is through full Congressional hearings. I will call for hearings this week -- and you can strengthen this call by adding your name to our petition today:

i was watching some wwe raw tonite, and i wondered: how many time does a steel cage match start off right. i mean fighting started outside of the steel cage, other people were involved that weren't even part of the match. they actually had to call the police, or the security guards at least. then the guy ran off into the crowd, shorty after that the real match started. i missed the end of it tho.

i really should start watching wrestling again, but i can't afford 24 pay per views per year..... i bet that shit would be easy to download, maybe i'll have to try that! does anyone know if the pay per view events are eassily downloadable shortly after their first showing????

I feel like I'm nearing the end of a marathon

I've been ripping mp3's from our entire cd collection over the past several weeks. this is one fucking tedious mind numbing task. but i'm close to the end, i can see and smell it. i feel like i'm close to the end of a marathon, i've been going for so long all i want to do it quit and lay down, but i must keep going, only 6, 5, 4, 3 cd's left. crack out the champagne (of beers), cause i'm gonna cross the finish line soon.

all of this and probably for no good reason other than to get all this shit onto my new ipod, which won't even hold it all. but thats fine, cause there really is a LOT of shit in this music collection....

weird dreams

2 nites ago i had a dream that i heard an angel singing. it was really wierd because that was the whole dream. it was unlike any other sound i had ever heard, and i don't how i knew what it was, but i just knew. it was no noise anything on this earth could have made, but i just knew it was an angel singing... weird.

last nite i had a dream that one of my co-workers walked up to me at work and said "i know you've been watching porn on your work computer while you were supposed to be working and i told the ceo." that was pretty much it, i wasn't worried and didn't really care.

both were really short dreams, but quite odd.....

the free ipod is finally here

The free ipod is finally here, thanks to all who helped me get it, send me your link and i'll put them on the site! it was a bit tougher to set up than i figured it would be, but i managed. then i only have usb 1.0 so the transfer of mp3z to it was painfully slow, so for now i only have about 5 albums on it. but otherwise i'm very impressed so far!

i sometimes have weird dreams, dontcha know?

last nite i was on a water polo team.  it wasn't just any old polo team, we were in the marijuana league.  one player in the pool had to have a lit joint at all times.  so we'd have to pass this joint back and forth.  another thing that was different was that we didn't use a regular water polo ball.  instead of a ball, we used a heavy scuba air tank.  it really made the game go a lot slower than if we had a typical ball.  besides scoring by tosssing the scuba tank into your opponents goal, you could also score bonus points by completing an unusual task.  in the pool was a wild amazonian woman in a bikini.  now this chic was more like bigfoot than any woman you've ever seen.  bonus points were awarded to the team that could remove her bikini top.  this chic/thing was crazy and most of your time in the pool was spent avoiding her.

i scored the first and only goal of the game near the end of game time.  damm i'm good (for the fucked up marijuana league)!!

i can't beleive it, the email posts are working!  i had so much trouble with this in the past, but that last one was published almost instantly!  damm, writing to the piece of crap of a blog now really is as easy as writing an email.  guess i better get back to work.....

fargo air sho pics

this saturday i went out to the fargo air sho with onree and joe.  it was a good time, awfully hot, and really long.  the blue angels were there so of course we were going to stick around to see them, and of course they were last on the schedule.  almost 8 hours out in the sun turned most of me bright red.  for a while i felt like kramer when he fell asleep on the roof covered in butter.  for the last hour i tried to hide my legs and arms under a table to i could keep them out of the sun, fuck it was hot.

i only ordered that ipod last nite. at first the website told me that it could take 4-6 weeks before it gets shipped. i get an email tonite that tells me the ipod has been shipped! i should have it in about 7-10 days!

i used to be a metro stars fan

then one day i cracked during a game and decided they were my least favorite team in the mls. they couldn't score a goal to save their live, they keep amanda "dirty bitch" guevara on the field, and the don't have tony meola, tab ramos, roberto "who do you think you are" donnadonni anymore.

this morn i see that they just signed tony meola. damm, i can't hate any team that has meola in goal. but i can hope that they tie all of their games 0-0. i already had to cheer for their backline a little bit before they got rid of the pope, but i won't be rooting for them to actually win any games.
