What is amazon trying to pull?

Well I imagine this is just a mistake and they aren't trying to pull anything, but it got me...



I'm looking for a cheap DVD-RW drive, so I went along this category path at amazon.com:

There is see a nice cheap Lite-On drvie, so I toss 2 of them in my cart and check out. I should have paid more attention, because that drive is NOT a burner, just a plain old DVD reader. Why can't I assume that the items in that category actually fit into that category? well what a let down, now I have to give my dad a plain DVD drive for his birthday. He's going to hate me forever.
