does anyone use yahoo mail anymore? i don't very often, but everytime i do i wonder what the hell is up with the dude on the bouncing green ball? WTF is that all about? Its the image you get while it is logging you in. am i the only one who has ever wondered about that guy?

You certainly aren't the only one... I hate the little bouncy guy and I can't stand the new format. Could they steal a little more from Microsoft Outlook? I think I am going to switch back to the old format until they MAKE me use the new one. Good thing my yahoo accounts are just for newsletters and signing up for online crap so I don't really check it that often.
Yeah, that sounds scary. I think i'm just gonna start buying a shitload of stamps...
@bierwoman: steal from outlook? probably not. MS probably stole that whole layout from someone before them, eudora? that 100% speculation...
@defrance: you could hook up with a gmail account, oh yeah, you got one, just use it!!
The bouncing dude's name is Liam ("mail" backwards). Liam started out in the tutorials that we put out, showing people how to use the beta.
Since then he's been the unofficial mascot for the beta. He also bears a striking resemblance to our product manager, which I'm sure is pure coincidence.
