who plays world of warcraft

I came awfully close to buying World of Warcraft last nite at best buy. I didn't beacuse I would have needed to spend $80 to be able to play the game for 2 months. I'm kinda curious about what the gameplay is like. are the controls goofy like the guild wars beta was, or something nice like morrowind or unreal tournamnet? i only have a K6-2 1.4Ghz 512 MB ram in my computer, will it run WoW okay? what was the deal with blizzard not selling any more copies a couple months ago? i was a bit surprised to have seen in on the shelves at best buy. i almost bought just the game in case they ran out again..... maybe i will go back and pick up a copy just in case?
